You cannot print text in a terminal server session in Windows Server 2003, in Windows Server 2008, or in Windows Vista if the printer uses the "Generic / Text Only" driver

Consider the following scenario:

• You have a computer that is running Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, or Windows Vista.
• You install a printer that uses the Generic / Text Only driver.
• You run an application that uses the Graphics::DrawString method in a terminal server session.
• You use this application to try to print text to the printer. 

In this scenario, no text is printed.

Note This issue occurs in only a terminal server session. This issue does not occur when you run the application in a console session

The English (United States) version of this hotfix installs files that have the attributes that are listed in the following tables. The dates and the times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The dates and the times for these files on your local computer are displayed in your local time together with your current daylight saving time (DST) bias. Additionally, the dates and the times may change when you perform certain operations on the files.
