FIX: Default MsDb2Client values are incorrect for the QuotePrefix and QuoteSuffix properties when you use the ADO.NET Data Provider for DB2 in a Host Integration Server 2009 environment

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

In a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2009 environment, you use the ADO.NET Data Provider for DB2. In this scenario, you notice that the MsDb2Client default values are incorrect for the QuotePrefix property and for the QuoteSuffix property on the DbCommandBuilder class.

Note The default values for these properties are double quotation marks (""). However, the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.51 documentation indicates that the default values for these properties should be an empty string ().
