Notes- In Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7, the default value of the GDIProcessHandleQuota registry entry is 10000.
- This wizard may be in English only. However, the automatic fix also works for other language versions of Windows.
- If you are not using the computer that has the problem, save the Fix it solution to a flash drive or a CD and then run it on the computer that has the problem.

Let me fix it myself
To resolve this issue, change the value of the
GDIProcessHandleQuota registry entry. To do this, follow these steps:
- In Windows Vista or in Windows 7, click Start
, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or provide confirmation.
In Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK. - Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
- Click GDIProcessHandleQuota.
- On the Edit menu, click Modify.
- In the Value data box, type a number that is greater than the current value, and then click OK.
- Exit Registry Editor.
- Restart the computer.
