Symptoms

You run and then cancel the English version of the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Setup program. Then, you rerun the Setup program for another language. In this situation, English Setup pages are displayed instead of the Setup pages for the other language.

Workaround

To work around this problem, follow these steps:
  1. Uninstall the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Setup Support Files program in the Programs and Features item of Control Panel.
  2. Rerun the Setup program for the language that you want.
