To resolve this issue, install the following hotfix on the affected computers that are running Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows 7.
To enable this option, you must add a new registry entry after you apply the hotfix. To do this, follow these steps.
Warning If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. Note although the hotfix does not need to be installed on later versions the registry must still be set to enable this option.
1. Click

Run , type
regedit in the
Open box, and then click
OK .
2. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal server\WinStations\Console
3. On the
Edit menu, point to
New , and then click
DWORD Value .
4. Type
ApplySessionLimits , and then press ENTER.
5. On the
Edit menu, click
Modify .
6. In the
Value data box, type
1 , and then click
OK .
7. Quit Registry Editor.

Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 file information notes
Important Windows 7 hotfixes and Windows Server 2008 R2 hotfixes are included in the same packages. However, hotfixes on the Hotfix Request page are listed under both operating systems.
