Symptoms

After you manually remove a computer object that is in the "Session Broker Computers" group from the Remote Desktop Virtualization Host server, the membership is not updated immediately on a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 R2.

Cause

This problem occurs because the group check does not occur when the Desktop Virtualization Host server creates a connection. Instead, it occurs when a computer object joins the Desktop Virtualization Host server.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, restart the Connection Broker service.

If you want to remove a Remote Desktop Virtualization Host server from a group of Remote Desktop Virtualization Host servers that may host virtual machines for a farm of personal desktops or of pooled desktops, use the admin tool (Sbmgr.msc).
