More Information

Issues that are fixed by this update

Issue 1

You create a Silverlight 3 application that uses the hardware acceleration feature of the graphics processing unit (GPU). If errors occur in the GPU drivers when you run the Silverlight 3 application, the Silverlight 3 application cannot correctly display the content. This problem occurs because Silverlight 3 incorrectly handles errors that occur in the GPU drivers.

Issue 2

CPU usage is high when you use the Deep Zoom feature in Silverlight 3. This problem occurs when the Deep Zoom feature cannot load or decode a tile. The problem persists even if you minimize the Web browser in which the Silverlight 3 application is running.

Issue 3

When you try to download information in a Silverlight application, the application crashes.
