The "LegacyExchangeDN" attribute is not used for an embedded message when the message is sent to internal recipients in an Exchange Server 2010 environment

Symptoms

When an embedded message is sent to internal recipients in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 environment, you find the following symptoms:
  • The PR_SENDER_EMAIL_ADDRESS property of the message is set as the SMTP address of the sender instead of the LegacyExchangeDN attribute of the sender.
  • The PR_EMAIL_ADDRESS property of the message is set as the SMTP address of the recipient �instead of the LegacyExchangeDN attribute of the recipient.

To resolve this issue, download and then install Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) from the following Microsoft website:
