A virtual machine connection is lost when the virtual machine tries to restart or tries to shut down after you remove the virtual networks

Symptoms

In Windows Server 2008 R2, the following error messages appear for the virtual machine (VM) connection when a virtual machine tries to restart or tries to shut down after you remove the virtual networks:
The session will be disconnected due to a data encryption error. Try to connect again. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator.

Would you like to try to reconnect?
The connection to the virtual machine has ended. Try to connect again. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator.

Would you like to try to reconnect?
Then, the VM connection is lost.

Note This happens when there are no virtual network adapters or virtual networks on the host.
