Important Windows 7 updates and Windows Server 2008 R2 updates are included in the same packages. However, updates on the Hotfix Request page are listed under both operating systems. MUM and MANIFEST files, and the associated security catalog (.cat) files, are extremely important to maintaining the state of the updated component.
