Symptoms

On a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, you configure Windows Media Player 12 to display subtitles. You use Windows Media Player 12 to play a DVD in full screen mode, and then you right-click the screen to display the shortcut menu. However, the shortcut menu disappears when a new line of subtitles is displayed.

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 file information notes
Important Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 hotfixes are included in the same packages. However, only one of these products may be listed on the "Hotfix Request" page.
