Symptoms

The Firewall service (Wspsrv.exe) may crash when you use the Web Publishing Load Balancing Web filter in Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2006.

Cause

This problem occurs when all server farm members become unavailable.

Resolution

To resolve this problem, install the hotfix rollup package that is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
