To resolve this issue, add the following registry subkey:

Entry: Winlogon.exe
Type: DWORD
Value: 0
To do this, follow these steps:
- Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then press ENTER.
- Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MAIN\FeatureControl
- On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click Key.
- Type the following key name, and then press ENTER:
FEATURE_USE_IETLDLIST_FOR_DOMAIN_DETERMINATION
- On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
- Type Winlogon.exe, and then press ENTER.
- Right-click Winlogon.exe, and then click Modify.
- In the Value data box, type 0, and then click OK.
- Exit Registry Editor.
- Restart the computer.
