Remote path variables are modified incorrectly in the File Server Resource Manager if the File Server Resource Manager is used in an environment that has a Windows Server 2008 cluster

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

You use the File Server Resource Manager in an environment that has a Windows Server 2008 cluster. In this scenario, the following remote path variables are defined in the File Server Resource Manager, and these remote path variables are expanded incorrectly:
  • [Quota Remote Paths]
  • [Source File Remote Paths]
  • [File Management Remote Paths]
Therefore, the quota reports, the file screen audit reports, and the storage reports contain only paths that are not available to the users, and the user cannot use the reports.
