You receive an empty dialog box when you run the "Rundll32.exe shdocvw.dll, DoOrganizeFavDlg" command on a computer that is running Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 if Internet Explorer 8 is installed

Symptoms

On a computer that is running Windows XP or Windows Server 2003, you have Windows Internet Explorer 8 installed. When you try to open the Organize Favorites dialog box by using following command, you receive an empty dialog box, although the dialog box is expected to display the favorites information:
Rundll32.exe shdocvw.dll, DoOrganizeFavDlg

Resolution

Workaround

To work around this issue, you can use the following command at the command prompt instead of the command that is mentioned in the "Symptoms" section:
Rundll32.exe ieframe.dll, DoOrganizeFavDlg

Prerequisites
