Some interchanges are suspended if you use the EDI receive pipeline to receive multiple interchanges that are included in a single EDI message in BizTalk Server 2006 R2 (972530)

Consider the following scenario in BizTalk Server 2006 R2:

• You use the default Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Receive pipeline to receive EDI documents from your trading partners.
• The EDI document contains multiple interchanges.
• Among the multiple interchanges, the segment terminator in one interchange differs from the segment terminator in the next interchange.

In this scenario, one interchange is processed successfully. However, the next interchange is suspended. If you resume the suspended interchange, the suspended interchange may be processed successfully if the interchange is valid.

This problem occurs because of an error in the EDI components in BizTalk Server 2006 R2.
