Symptoms

In a Microsoft Host Integration Server environment, you use the DB2 Adapter that is included in Microsoft BizTalk Adapters for Host Systems 2.0 together with the Data Transformation Services (DTS). If you send a query to a DB2 table, the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) that contains SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) may crash. This issue occurs when the DB2 database is configured to use the Japanese character code set identifier (CCSID) 930.
