View products that this article applies to.

Introduction

To provide industry-standard compliance with the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) 2009 Standards Release Guide (SRG) specification, Microsoft will release BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2009 Message Pack. This new release provides the compatibility that is required for you to use the SWIFT standard that will be imposed in November 2009.

The 2009 Standard provides support for the following new SWIFT dual message types:
  • MT202COV
  • MT205COV
These SWIFT dual message types are used as cover messages according to the 2009 SRG specification. This hotfix also includes the updated Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT (A4SWIFT) disassembler (DASM). This DASM resolves schemas during parsing for the new dual messages types and it validates XML at run time for the new dual messages types.

Note You must apply this hotfix before you install the BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2009 Message Pack.
