Description of the Access 2007 hotfix package (Ace.msp): June 30, 2009

This article describes the Microsoft Office Access 2007 issues that are fixed in the hotfix package that is dated June 30, 2009 .

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

• Access 2007 crashes when you run a complex query that involves ODBC links, query inheritance, GROUP BY clauses and aggregates.
  
  
• When you import a text file to Access 2007, the last row is not imported. This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
  • The file size is a multiple of 4096.
  • The file does not end with a carriage return/line feed.
• In Access 2007, you create an ODBC linked table that links to a table on a server. The ODBC linked table uses the lookup function. The type of the lookup field is Number, and the field size is Decimal. When you run a query by using the lookup field, the matching fields are not returned.
