Formatted content that is copied and then pasted from an RTF document is not displayed correctly on a computer that is running a 64-bit version of Windows

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You have hotfix 963027 for Windows Internet Explorer installed on a computer that is running a 64-bit version of Windows.
  • You use a 64-bit version of Internet Explorer to browse a Web page. The Web page contains formatted content that can be edited.
  • You copy some formatted content from a Rich Text Format (RTF) document, and then you paste the formatted content to the Web page.
In this scenario, the formatting of the content disappears, and the content becomes plain text.
