On Windows Server 2008 or Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008, you may experience one of the following symptoms:
- The following stop error on a server that has the Hyper-V role installed:

Note The parameters may vary. - Hyper-V Virtual Machine Management service (VMMS) may it stop running unexpectedly due to Heap memory corruption.

This issue can occur if a Hyper-V virtual machine is configured with a SCSI controller but no disks are attached.

To prevent this issue from occurring, edit the virtual machines and remove any SCSI controllers which do not have disks attached.
