Easy Fix - How to log in to the same website simultaneously using multiple identities in IE8

Website designs nowadays have closely accommodated the IE functions, allowing greater convenience when logging into websites that require user IDs and passwords. You only need to input user ID and password once, and you won't be prompted to do so again the next time you log on. However, this is not so convenient when there are multiple system administrators, or for users who need to log in using multiple identities. IE8 offers the simple solutions below that allows you to log in to the same website using multiple identities in different sessions.

Method One. Creating new sessions in IE8

1. You can create new sessions in IE8. After clicking [New Session], IE8 will create a new session in a separate window, where you can log in to the same website using another set of ID and password.
   
   

Method Two. Creating desktop shortcuts that open different IE sessions

1. IE8 allows the use of the -nomerge parameter to create a new session in a new browser window. First, click [Start] / [All Programs], right-click the [Internet Explorer] icon, point to [Send To], and click [Desktop as Shortcut]. The shortcut will then be created on your desktop.

2. Go back to your desktop, right-click the [Internet Explorer] shortcut icon you have just created, and click [Properties]. Add the -nomerge parameter after iexplorer.exe.
