This security update fixes the following issues:
  • 958951 ISA Server stops accepting new requests after you configure Web publishing, Web proxy, or Automatic discovery

  • 968077 A cross-site scripting vulnerability in ISA Server 2006 allows for redirection to malicious sites

Installation information

Because three separate packages are supplied according to the minor release level, you must apply the appropriate package by following these instructions:
  • If the release level of your installation is between the original release ISA Server 2006 and the supportability update, you must apply the ISA2006-RTM-KB968078-X86-<Lang>.msp package.
  • If the release level of your installation is between the Supportability Update and Service Pack 1, you must apply the ISA2006-SUPP-KB968078-X86-<Lang>.msp package.
