Error message when you run a data load for Microsoft FRx for Infor AM or IFM: "Run-Time Error '2147467259 (80004005)': [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server Does Not Exist or Access Denied"

Symptoms


When you execute the load either from the FDM Load Wizard or SQL Server Enterpirse Manger for Infor Global Solutions AM or IFM you receive the following error message.


Run-Time Error '2147467259 (80004005)': [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server Does Not Exist or Access Denied

Cause

This error occurs due to one of the following:
  1. FDM Load Wizard is version 6.7.0.90 is missing connection code that does not update the package with the correct source and destination connection information.
  2. If FDM Load Wizard 6.7.0.90 is already installed and another installation attempt of FDM Load Wizard 6.7.013 on the same server and does not install properly.

Resolution

Install FDM Import Wizard version 6.7.013 that contains the updated connection code needed to run the AM/IFM load. Once this version of the FDM Import Wizard is installed the updated package will need to be reconfigured.
