Cause

The error is caused by one of the following reasons: The user logged in with the wrong ID or password. The GL database is down or inaccessible. When using FRx security, the database login/password does not sync up with the FRx security login/password.

Resolution

Try to login again, or try an alternate ID and password. Check for problems with the GL database. In order to verify that the database is causing the error, try to connect to the database using a query tool such as ODBC Test or MS Access (something outside of FRx). See Testing ODBC Connectivity via MS Access. If you receive the error when using FRx security, click OK. You will be prompted to try again, and then the system will pull up the database login. You can eliminate the error and the extra step by using the same user IDs and passwords for FRx security as you do with the database. You will only need to login one time.
