This problem is caused by a limitation in the "Restrict Internet communication" entry in the ICM.admx file. This entry is located under
the following heading:
User
Configuration/Policies/Administrative Templates/system/Internet Communication
Management
The limitation causes the "Restrict Internet communication" entry
to display inconsistently reported values if one of the subsettings for the
entry has changed. This inconsistency occurs because the "Restrict Internet
communication" entry does not correspond to one specific client setting.
Instead, the entry corresponds to a group of client settings.
In other
words, the parent "Restrict Internet communication" entry might not correspond
to the value in the GPEdit.msc console even though the actual Group Policy
behavior of its 14 subsettings is reported correctly.
Unless you
choose to follow the suggested steps in the "Resolution" section, we recommend
that you ignore the "Restrict Internet communication" entry in the GPMC report
until an updated ICM.admx file is available.
