Introduction

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • When you copy items from a Word document and paste them into an InfoPath 2007 form, the numbered lists are changed to bulleted lists. Additionally, some text disappears.

  • You create a custom type document in a document library. When you save the document in the Word 97-2003 (*.doc) format, you receive the following error message:

The form cannot be filled out because of an error in the form's design. Contact the author of the form template to resolve the issue.
This problem occurs when the The server drafts location on this computer option is enabled.

    Notes
    • The document is successfully uploaded to the document library.
    • To locate the The server drafts location on this computer option, click the Microsoft Office Button, click Word Options, and then click Save.
  • When you use InfoPath 2007 to validate a domain user or a domain group that you added to a role, the validation does not work. For example, when you switch to a different view based on the role the user belongs to, the view does not change. This problem occurs when the domain was created as a new tree in the forest instead of as a child node of the root domain.
