You have a Windows Server 2003-based computer that is running BizTalk Server. This computer is a multiprocessor computer. When the BizTalk SQL Adapter is under heavy load, event ID 5740 and event ID 5754 may be logged in the Application log:

Cause

This problem occurs because of a race condition between marshaling a COM object and releasing the COM object. This race condition occurs in the Ole32.dll file.

Resolution

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing.
