More information

Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT Message Pack 2008 is based on the SWIFT Standards Release Guide (SRG) 2008. After the release of Message Pack 2008, SWIFT released an update about Corporate Action Notification (MT564) messages. The hotfix that this article describes allows for MT564 messages to be processed successfully and according to the update that SWIFT SRG issued.

After you apply the hotfix that this article describes, MT564 messages allow for repetitive fields. This allows for the new OPST qualifier that is added to field 12a to be processed correctly. The addition of the OPST qualifier to the already available CLAS qualifier makes field 12a a repetitive field. The CLAS qualifier and the OPST qualifier are not mutually exclusive.
