Symptoms

Consider the following scenario in the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Enterprise Portal Web site: an organization manager selects an employee on the My Employee Web page. Then, the manager opens the employee's resume. Next, the manager prints the employee's resume. In this scenario, the organization manager's resume instead of the employee's resume is displayed.

This problem occurs in the following products:
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009

Validation of the application hotfix installation

To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT), and then verify that there is a method whose name is the same as the KB article number of the installed hotfix.

Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by viewing the KB959261.txt file against the objects in the AOT. Therefore, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or the GLP layer.
