FIX: Message types MT535, MT564, and MT566 fail the BRE validation when you use Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT Message Pack 2008

Symptoms

When you use Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2008 Message Pack, message types MT535, MT564, and MT566 fail the Business Rule Engine (BRE) validation. When this problem occurs, you receive SWIFT error messages that resemble the following:

Cause

This problem occurs because BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2008 Message Pack does not fully comply with the BRE rules in the SWIFT Standards Release Guide 2008.

Resolution

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

Prerequisites

You must have Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2008 Message Pack installed to apply this hotfix. To install this hotfix, follow the instructions in the ReadMe.txt file that the hotfix package contains.

You must restart Internet Information Services (IIS) and BizTalk Host Instance services after you apply this hotfix.

This hotfix modifies the MT564 message type and the MT566 message type to comply with BRE validation rules. This hotix also modifies Network Rule 282 for the MT535 message type.
