IssueP1 that this hotfix package fixes

This hotfix fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • The Indexing Service in Microsoft Office Word 2003 will not index Microsoft Office Word documents, Microsoft Office PowerPoint presentations, or Microsoft Office Excel workbooks that are located on a network share. When you try to find an Office file on the network share by using Advanced File Search in the File Search pane, network shares are marked as "Unavailable Locations" in the search results. Files that are located on the computer are displayed as expected.
