View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • On a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 computer, you enable Envelope Journaling.
  • You view the journaled copy of a message. A clone copy of the original message is attached to the message.
  • The journaled message contains an envelope journal report of all the recipients who have received the message.
In this scenario, you may experience the following symptoms:
  • The envelope journal report does not provide information about the recipients in the To, Cc, and Bcc fields.
  • The envelope journal report does not include the information that is recorded for the recipients if they are included in a distribution list (DL).
  • The attached clone message in the journaled copy of the message also does not include the Bcc field.
