FIX: Event ID 4096 is logged in the BizTalk Server Application log when you use BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.5 to receive a 3A4 PIP message from a partner

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You use Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.5 to receive a 3A4 Partner Interface Process (PIP) message from a partner.
  • In the message, the affirmationindicator element has a value other than "yes" or "no." For example, the affirmationindicator element has a value of "Yes" or "No."
In this scenario, you cannot receive the message. Additionally, the following Error event is logged in the BizTalk Server Application log:

Resolution

Hotfix information

To work around this problem, ask the partner to use only "yes" and "no" for the values of the affirmationindicator element.
