FIX: A new feature in BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.3 allows country and currency code validation by referencing the database tables

View products that this article applies to.

Introduction

When you configure Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2008 Message Pack, you have the option to create a new database group or use an existing one. By default, this database group is named A4SWIFT. The following three tables are created after you finish the Message Pack 2008 configuration:
  • CountryCode_List
  • CurrencyCode_List
  • LegacyCurrencyCode_List
Additionally, BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2008 Message Pack contains a feature so that you can use these tables to perform country code and currency code validation. Starting with BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2008 Message Pack, Business Rule Engine (BRE) uses these tables to validate messages. However, to enable this feature, you must apply this feature before you install BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2008 Message Pack.

Notes
  • This feature is a prerequisite to install BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2008 Message Pack.
  • To make this feature work correctly, you must follow the BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2008 Message Pack installation guide to complete the configuration. You can download the installation guide by following the instructions in the "More information" section.
