FIX: An event ID 0 error message is logged in the BizTalk Server Application log when you receive RNIF documents from a trading partner in BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.5

Symptoms

When you receive a RosettaNet Implementation Framework (RNIF) document from a trading partner in Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.5, the orchestration fails. Additionally, the following event error is logged in the BizTalk Server Application log:

If tracking is enabled, Health and Activity Tracking (HAT) shows the following error message:

This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
  • In the RNIF document, the value of the MessageTrackingID property differs from the value of the ReplyToSignalMessageTrackingID class.
  • The message is signed.

Prerequisites

You must have installed the following software before you apply this hotfix:
  • Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2
  • Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.5

Restart requirement

You do not have to restart your computer after applying this hotfix. However, you must restart Internet Information Services (IIS) and BizTalk Host Instance services.
