The Terminal Server (TS) Gateway Network Access Protection (NAP) Wizard does not set correctly the TSG-Device-Redirection device redirection attribute for the TS Gateway on a Windows Server 2008-based computer. Therefore, the attribute is interpreted in an unpredictable way by the TS Gateway.

To work around this issue, follow these steps:
- Start the TS Gateway Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in. To do this, click Start, type TS Gateway in the Start Search box, and then click TS Gateway Manager.
- Reset the attributes of the network policies that are created by the NAP Wizard to the correct values.

You can configure the TS Gateway to use a new vendor-specific attribute that is named TSG-Device-Redirection to store device redirection attributes for policies in the TS Gateway. This new attribute can be configured only through the TS Gateway user interface (UI).
TS Gateway is a role service in the Terminal Services server role of Windows Server 2008. This role allows for authorized remote users to connect any Internet-connected device to resources on an internal corporate network or on a private network. These network resources can be terminal servers, terminal servers that are running remote application programs, or computers that have Remote Desktop enabled.
