Local credentials are used to log on to a Windows Server 2008-based computer instead of credentials that you entered on a Terminal Services client

Symptoms

You try to use Terminal Services to log on to a Windows Server 2008-based computer from a Terminal Services client that is behind a gateway. After you do this, your credentials for the gateway are used instead of the credentials that you entered for the Terminal Services client.

This issue occurs because the architecture that is used by the NTLM Security Support Provider (SSP) and the remote procedure calls. This architecture is configured so that the Terminal Services client cannot determine whether the connection is from a local server.
