The SMTP service crashes intermittently on a Windows Server 2003 based-server that is running Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. Additionally, the following event errors are logged during the crash:

Description: The IIS Admin Service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 1 milliseconds: Run the configured recovery program.

Resolution
