Result



For a Windows Server 2003 or 2008 or 2008 R2 based DHCP server where Symantec Endpoint Production 11.0 or Symantec Antivirus 10.2 is installed, client computers may be unable to get IP addresses from this DHCP server.

If we statically assign an IP address to the client machine, it functions normally on the network..

This issue occurs because of a problem with Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.

Resolution
