FIX: SNA Manager does not remove a specific font from the 3270 or APPC print session properties when the Font check box has been cleared

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario. You configure a 3270 or APPC print session to use a specific font, such as Courier. To do this, you select the Font check box, and then click the Font button in the Print session properties dialog box in SNA Manager. If you later clear the Font check box for a 3270 or APPC print session, the specific font is not cleared from the font text field. If you export the 3270 or APPC print session configuration by using the SNACFG command-line configuration utility after the Font check box has been cleared, the /FONT option will still list the previously selected font.

Cause

This problem occurs because SNA Manager does not remove the specific font name from 3270 and APPC print session configurations when the Font check box in the Print session properties dialog box has been cleared.
