The Site field of the link target is displayed as <Unknown> in the DFS Management snap-in on a Windows Server 2003 R2-based computer

Symptoms

On a Windows Server 2003 R2-based computer, assume that you use the Distributed File System (DFS) Management snap-in (Dfsmgmt.msc) to review a namespace that has many DFS folders. When you click every folder under the namespace, the folder target displays the correct site information. However, after you press F5 several times to update the view, the Site field of the link target is displayed as <Unknown>.

This problem remains until you close the DFS Management snap-in and then reopen it.
