This does not occur when you connect to a Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server.

Workaround

  • Enable client-provided credentials in the Terminal Service Configuration Console in Windows 2000 Server.
  • Save credentials on the client. The credentials will be ignored next time.
  • Create and then save an .rdp file that contains saved credentials on the client computer.
