FIX: Event ID 4133 and event ID 5802 are logged when you use BizTalk Server Accelerator for HL7 v2 in a BizTalk Server 2006 R2 environment

Symptoms

When you try to change the Microsoft BizTalk Server Accelerator for HL7 v2 namespace as outlined in the HL7 v2 developer guide, the HL7 parser cannot return an acknowledgement (ACK) to the source application. Additionally, the following events are logged in the Application log:

Description: Schema http://<custom namespece>/HL7/2X#ACK_24_GLO_DEF could not be found during serialization
Event Type: Error

Description: There was a failure executing the send pipeline: "BTAHL72XPipelines.BTAHL72XSendPipeline, BTAHL72XPipelines, Version=1.3.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35" Source: "BTAHL7 2.X Assembler" Send Port: "HL7V2DevGuide_ACK_SP" URI: "<file location>\ACK\%MessageID%.txt" Reason: Finding the document specification by message type "http://<custom namespace>/HL7/2X#ACK_24_GLO_DEF" failed. Verify the schema deployed properly.

You can process incoming HL7 messages correctly.

Note When you use the BizTalk Server Accelerator for HL7 v2 in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2, HL7 schemas are uniquely identified by namespace. The HL7 parser checks the party configuration for each HL7 message.

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

Prerequisites

You must have BizTalk Server 2006 R2 and Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for HL7 v2 installed to apply this hotfix.

You may be prompted to restart the server. However, it is sufficient to only restart the BizTalk Server Service(s) after you apply this hotfix.

This hotfix does not replace any other hotfixes.
