An updated resource compiler for the Windows SDK for Windows Server 2008 and for the .NET Framework 3.5 is now available


Introduction

This article describes the updated resource compiler for the Windows software development kit (SDK) for Windows Server 2008 and for the .NET Framework 3.5. This update improves the performance and stability of the Windows SDK. This update also resolves the following issue:
  • You create a project by using the Windows SDK for Windows Server 2008 and for the .NET Framework 3.5. However, when you build this project, the resource compiler does not generate a valid binary image.
