How to back up and restore the registry in Windows
To enable the query part of this hotfix package, follow these steps:

Click Start, and then click Run.
- Copy and then paste (or type) the following command in the Run box, and then press ENTER:
regedit
- Locate and then click the following subkey in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Access\Options
- On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
- Type NoRichTextExprCheck, and then press ENTER.
- On the Edit menu, click Modify.
- Type the following hexadecimal or decimal value, and then click OK: 1
- Exit Registry Editor.
