FIX: An MT103 message that has an invalid 57D field is validated as a correct message by BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.3 in BizTalk Server 2006

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario. In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006, you use BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.3 and BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT Message Pack 2007 to process messages. You process an MT103 message that has an invalid 57D field. In this scenario, the message is still validated as a correct message by BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.3. Additionally, you may receive error code T51008 from the SWIFT network.

For example, an MT103 message has the following value for the 57D field:
:57D:///123456789#
The message is validated as correct by BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.3.

Hotfix information

Prerequisites

The following list contains prerequisites for the hotfix:
  • BizTalk Server 2006
  • BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.3
  • BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT Message Pack 2007

Restart information

You have to restart the Internet Information Services (IIS) service and the BizTalk Host Instance service. You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.
