You must create several Windows service accounts to run the optional Commerce Server 2007 application services. You can create the Windows service accounts on a domain controller that handles security and authentication for the computer on which you install Commerce Server 2007. If you cannot create the Windows service accounts as domain accounts, you can create the Windows service accounts as local accounts on the computer on which you install Commerce Server 2007.
The following optional Commerce Server 2007 application services are available to configure when you install Commerce Server 2007:
- Commerce Server Staging Service (CSS)
