FIX: You may receive an event ID 5753 error message when you try to use the BizTalk Server 2006 R2 EDI functionality

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario. You try to use the Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2 Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) functionality. You use the Microsoft Message Queuing transport to send a message to BizTalk Server. In this scenario, you may receive an event error message that resembles the following:

Event ID: 5753
Description:
A message received by adapter "MSMQ" on receive location "EdiReceive.MSMQReceiveLocation.EdiReceive" with URI "FORMATNAME:DIRECT=OS:.\PRIVATE$\TEST" is suspended. Error details: There was a failure executing the receive pipeline: "Microsoft.BizTalk.Edi.DefaultPipelines.EdiReceive, Microsoft.BizTalk.Edi.EdiPipelines, Version=3.0.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35" Source: "Pipeline " Receive Port: "MSMQReceivePort" URI: "FORMATNAME:DIRECT=OS:.\PRIVATE$\TEST" Reason: The integer property value is not valid. Resolution

Hotfix information

You must have BizTalk Server 2006 R2 installed to apply this hotfix.
