FIX: The CSConfig.exe file that runs after you install the release version of Commerce Server 2007 does not have an embedded manifest that supports User Account Control for Windows Server 2008

On a Windows Server 2008-based computer, you install the release version of Microsoft Commerce Server 2007. However, the CSConfig.exe file that runs after the installation does not have an embedded manifest that supports User Account Control (UAC) for Windows Server 2008.

Note This issue causes no software operational problems.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. This problem was first corrected in Commerce Server 2007 Service Pack 1.

Commerce Server 2007 is supported on Windows Server 2008. We recommend that you install Commerce Server 2007 Service Pack 2 to address most certification issues on Windows Server 2008.
